Below are a few testimonials of four totally different organizations who all enjoy the benefits of E-plano.
Family-run Bed & Breakfast
Our small hotel has only twelve rooms and we have been working with an A3-sized paper chart for many years. We never considered investing money in any sophisticated software but now with E-plano we have made a big step forward. My husband and I both have access to it and always know what is happening, even if we are away. And it is so easy to use; you won’t believe it until you try.
City hotel
Our old hotel PMS was installed (and re-installed several times) on the PC at the front desk. It is the only computer we have at our property (28 rooms) and we are always anxious to make back ups regularly. Recently the PC crashed (again!) and we decided to search for a web-based application. We immediately opted for E-plano, which runs over the Internet and we are no longer afraid to loose any data. And if the PC crashes, we know that we can continue our work temporarily on a laptop or even at the Internet café across the street.
Camping
Over the past few years I have been carrying around a laptop, where I keep everything that has to do with my father’s campsite on the beach. Not only the laptop itself is slow and out of date, my fear to loose customer data increases every day. The names and addresses of guests (many of them repeaters), last summer’s reservations, early bookings for next summer, price lists and payments, it is all stored on my hard disk. This winter (when the camping site will be closed and I will be at work in the city) I will be able to process reservations and correspond with guests, thanks to E-plano. Preparations for next summer season will be done on-line; I don’t carry any files (or papers) with me. In fact, E-plano is so simple, I might even convince my father to do it himself!
Lodges
Renting out our mountain lodges is rather a hobby than a commercial activity, as we rent mainly to members of our hiking club. The number of lodges has increased over the years from seven to twenty four but during certain periods of the year pre-booking is still essential. Therefore we opted for E-plano, which gives us the opportunity to inform our members in real time about availability. Each member has his/her own password and enters E-plano (anytime) to view the calendar of availability, before they contact us. Our two secretaries, who both work from home, process the bookings. Soon our whole list of members will be imported into the database of E-plano, which will make our admin easier than ever.
